[AUS] Skills & Competency Assessment Level SME

An AUS Subject Matter Expert (SME) is best utilized when agencies require advanced acquisition knowledge, technical oversight, or specialized guidance on complex or high-value procurements. SMEs provide critical support in interpreting federal acquisition regulations, aligning procurement strategies with mission requirements, and ensuring compliance across care lines. AUS-SME's are particularly valuable in situations where contracting offices face skill gaps, surge requirements, or high-stakes acquisitions that demand expert judgment, strategic sourcing expertise, and hands-on mentoring of less experienced staff.
