VISN Training Hub Locations are strategically established to expand equitable access to standardized, high-quality training across the network. Locations are selected based on workforce density, regional demand, and proximity to VA facilities and partner institutions. Effectiveness will be measured through utilization rates, geographic coverage metrics, reduced travel time and cost, and increased participation from underserved or high-demand areas within each VISN.
Each Training Hub Location is designed to function as a regional center of excellence, delivering consistent instruction while remaining responsive to local operational needs. Outcomes will be evaluated through hub-level performance indicators, including course throughput, certification attainment, learner satisfaction scores, and post-training performance improvements. This localized delivery model supports faster skill acquisition and increased readiness for mission-critical roles.
Collectively, VISN Training Hub Locations enable a scalable and cost-effective training infrastructure that improves workforce capacity and operational resilience. Success will be measured by reductions in training backlog, improved time-to-competency, lower per-participant training costs, and enhanced compliance with VA standards. By aligning physical locations with regional workforce strategies, the program strengthens VISN performance, optimizes resource utilization, and directly supports the VA’s mission to serve Veterans efficiently and effectively.
