VISN Sales Representative / Account Managers
The VISN Group is seeking an experienced salesperson to fill the role of Senior Account Manager for the VISN defined territory with experience selling education training, certifications, and other support services to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, nationwide. Experience in education technology and/or traditional education sales is a plus.
Job Description:
AUS Procurement [U] Account Managers are hunters and identifying, developing, and servicing our Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers partners is critical to our success. The ideal candidate possesses a quantifiable success record with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed goals while maintaining a people-centered and mission-driven approach. A strong interest in and knowledge of educational resources is a plus, and a motivated, organized, self-starter personality is a must.
AUS Procurement [U] has successfully operates as a semi to full-time virtual company, while traveling to conferences and client presentations are critical, as Account Managers you will work from home.
Duties:
The primary duties include:
· Manage and close enterprise leads generated through outbound prospecting, mining existing client base, and internally generated leads.
· Employ effective consultative techniques that fosters and strengthen partnerships, provide immediate solutions to exceed annual targets.
· Manage complex, multiple influence sales opportunities ensuring buy-in from all client stakeholders.
· Coordinate the development of comprehensive proposals in response to client RFPs.
· Participate in regional and national sales events, meetings, trade shows/
conferences within the territory as directed.
· Document and track all activity through web-based client relationship management (CRM) automation tools, including detailed activity reports, setting tasks for follow-up, lead tracking, and probability statistics.
· Maintain sufficient knowledge and understanding of the medical center employees’ educational needs and the potential impact of new and existing competitors.
· Facilitate and maintain overall client relationships, including strategic planning, revenue growth targets and, transition to support team.
· Implement organizational initiatives into sales territory.
Desired Skills & Experience:
· High achievement and proven record of working in a fast-paced work environment.
· Sales experience with an enthusiastic approach to investigating, discussing, building, and deploying solutions to address client needs.
· Excellent presentation skills.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Growth mindset with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
· Ability to coordinate support and operational resources to manage and close deals to include the experience and business savvy necessary to interact with internal and external C-level stakeholders.
· Broad knowledge of strategic customer relationship development and management.
· Strong business problem-solving skills.
· Technological proficiency and strong working knowledge of business systems such as Microsoft applications, the internet, presentation platforms, and computer applications.
· Experience with learning solutions -print and/or digital.
Education and Experience:
· Five or more years of sales experience with a track record of success. Minimum of three years in
B to B and or Education curriculum sales.
· Experience in Educational Technology sales is a plus.
· Experience in the community college, correctional, and/or workforce solutions areas is strongly preferred.
Primary Location:
· Primary work is done from a home office. The candidate must be opened to traveling within their VISN when required.
Compensation:
The VISN Group Sales Representatives will receive highly competitive commissions, and uncapped goal orientate bonuses upon exceeding quota.
