Maintaining your VISN-AUS Standards through Continuous Learning Points (CLPs)
Continuing Learning Points (CLPs)
Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) are another form of recognition for learning. CLPs emerged from the DoD and acquisition communities and there is no central governing body or uniform set of standards for issuing CLPs.
The VISN Group through AUS Procurement [U] provide exceptional learning opportunities for which attendees are eligible to receive educational credit to maintain their certifications statues.
All VISN Certification holders must acquire 80 Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years from the date of entry into the acquisition workforce for as long as the member remains in an acquisition utilization field. Members are encouraged to set a goal of achieving 40 CLPs within any 12 month period.
